We worship with Communion on Sunday mornings at 9 am. All are welcome to Christ's Table because God's grace is for everyone!
Beginning in November, we will open up our sanctuary for a time of prayer on the first Tuesday of every month from noon-1 pm. There won't be a worship structure other than showing up to pray and meditate. There will be contemplative music in the background and candles to light. Pastor D.J. will be present to offer prayer.
We encourage you to share your unique gifts and talents with our community. Whether it is teaching children, playing music, or volunteering in worship, we encourage you to connect with Pastor D.J. to see how we can celebrate your gifts!
During worship, children are invited to participate in a children’s word, share offering by bringing their gifts forward and placing them in a globe, and serve as greeter and communion basket holders. Jesus said, "Let the children come to me!", and we believe children are a blessing for all they are and all that they bring to community. Last year the children gave $630.00 in offering to be shared with our local food shelf, to help clean up Michigan’s water supply and to aid in the Australia fire relief.
We celebrate God’s gift of music, and we encourage people of every ability to make a joyful noise with us!
Specific ways to get involved with music include bell choir, leading special music, playing an instrument, or singing. Contact Pastor D.J. with any questions or ideas you may have!
Volunteers regularly enrich our worship by serving as ushers, greeter’s, readers, communion assistants, and helping to serve treats after worship.
A volunteer sign-up sheet is often passed through the congregation during worship to recruit helpers.
